The program equipped participants with essential knowledge and skills to handle unforeseen situations calmly and responsibly. The school covered various types of disasters, including earthquakes, floods, fire, and other natural and man-made emergencies. Participants learned the importance of staying calm, following safety instructions, and helping others during an emergency. The program also included a practical demonstration on basic fire safety measures and evacuation procedures. The participants learnt about the importance of emergency exits, a designated safe point and cooperating with teachers and emergency personnel. The program was highly informative and interactive. All the participants participated enthusiastically and asked questions to clarify their doubts. The activity helped them understand that preparedness, awareness and teamwork are essential for effective disaster management. The program concluded with a message that every individual has a role to play in ensuring safety and reducing the impact of disasters. It was an enriching experience that promoted responsibility, alertness, and confidence among participants.
