The 79th Independence Day celebrations at Darshan Academy, Jalandhar, were held with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The students and staff members of the school paid tribute to the nation and its freedom fighters. It is a markable day when we honor and respect all of our freedom fighters who fought for India’s freedom. The celebration began with flag hosting by the dignitaries, followed by the playing of the National Anthem and a parade by the students. The students presented speeches, patriotic songs and dances to pay respect to their motherland. An interhouse dance competition was also conducted on this occasion. They looked beautiful and energetic in the tricoloured attire. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and the distribution of sweets to the students and staff members.
