Darshan Academy, Jalandhar, hosted a vibrant and memorable poetry fest in its premises to pay tribute to Sant Darshan Singh Ji Maharaj through his gazals, poems and songs. The purpose is to encourage students, teachers and parents by providing a platform to express their thoughts, feelings and ideas. The event begins with a warm welcome from the school principal. He emphasized the importance of self-expression through poetry, noting that a poetry recitation competition was also planned.
The students recited beautiful poems. Teachers and parents actively participated by sharing their own favourite poems on various themes like humanity, peace and love. The gazals of Darshan Singh Ji Maharaj were recited and the winners were appreciated with prizes by the judges. The event concluded with thankful remarks to teachers and parents for their participation, and also highlighted the importance of parents’ involvement.
