Darshan Academy, Jalandhar, conducted a CBP on Gender Sensitivity. Sixty participants from different schools attended this workshop. Ms. Shifali Yadav (Headmistress, Army School) and Mr. Dinesh Kumar (PGT at DAV Cent Public School, Nawanshahr) were the resource persons for the workshop. Ms. Shifali explained and discussed gender equality, gender equity, socialization, gender gap, and gender stereotypes. The life and problems of transgender people were also discussed in the workshop. She also focused on gender equality. The resource person, Mr. Dinesh Kumar, explained the role of power in gender relationships and gender-based violence. He also discussed and explained the role of power between the genders. The candidates participated in the workshop with interest and confidence. The workshop seemed fruitful for the candidates.
