The 80th Independence Day celebrations at Darshan Academy, Jalandhar, were held with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The celebrations commenced with the unfurling of the national flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Students paid tribute to the brave freedom fighters whose sacrifices secured the nation’s freedom. The program featured a variety of cultural programs, including patriotic songs, speeches and poems. All four houses presented vibrant dance performances highlighting the importance of national unity, harmony and responsible citizenship. The audience was deeply moved by the participants’ patriotic spirit. The impressive march-past was presented by the students of all four houses, who marched in perfect coordination and discipline. The Principal extended his heartfelt wishes for a Happy Independence Day in his speech to one and all present at the celebration. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and the distribution of sweets among the students.
