Rakhi Making Competition was held at Darshan Academy, Jalandhar, to celebrate the upcoming Raksha Bandhan festival. The competition encouraged students to showcase their creativity and artistic skills while celebrating the bond between brothers and sisters. Students crafted unique rakhis using a variety of materials and designs, demonstrating their talent and enthusiasm. Participants utilised a wide range of materials, including colourful threads, beads, foam sheets, ribbons, stickers and even matchsticks. The competition aimed to promote cultural awareness and understanding of Raksha Bandhan’s significance. The winners of the competition were applauded with appreciation certificates. Darshan Academy students went to the BSF headquarters to tie Rakhi on the wrists of the soldiers who defend our country day and night.
